“Business as a force for good” is an INSEAD value. Business creates economic growth that lifts people out of poverty, and creates innovations that fill economies with new products and services. The foundation of business is entrepreneurship.”
In 1999 Moritz Spilker and Robert Frowein, MBA’88Js organized a first reunion for INSEAD alumni interested in entrepreneurship to create a platform for the exchange of new business ideas. This reunion and the following ones in 2000 were dealing with start-up and venture ideas. Since 2001 the forum takes place annually, covering different topics of entrepreneurship and with a changing overarching theme each year. The Forum targets INSEAD Alumni who are entrepreneurs or wish to become entrepreneurs. Every year, 60+ participants join this full-day event and listen to war and success stories from firsthand experience and enjoy networking during long breaks, lunch time and the IAAG reception at the end of the day. The setting is confidential, so speakers feel more open to share their ideas. Through intense discussions in the group sometimes also new business ideas are developed, crucial insights for potential new ventures are developed and sometimes even new teams can be formed.
Collaboration with the INSEAD faculty
The Entrepreneurship form maintains an intense collaboration with the INSEAD faculty. “INSEAD will lead the world in research-based education for entrepreneurship”. Nearly every year INSEAD professors like Annet Aris, Christoph Zott, Peter Zaboji , Peter Zemsky, Tim van Zandt and many more provided insights into their recent research.
